Terms of Service

Moonrise Mini Golf, published by Moonrise Studios · Last updated 25 September 2026

These terms cover your use of Moonrise Mini Golf (the "game") and its online features. By playing, you agree to them. The game is distributed through the Meta Horizon Store, so Meta's terms for the store and for Meta accounts apply as well.

1. Your licence to play

Moonrise Studios gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play the game on your own Meta Quest headset for non-commercial purposes. The game is free.

You may not copy, sell or rent the game. You may not reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows. You may not use it to build a competing product.

2. Playing with others

Online games are private: players join with a code shared by the host. Local-network games are joined by address. When you play with others, follow Meta's Code of Conduct for Virtual Experiences and treat people with respect. In particular, don't:

You are responsible for what you say and do in the game. We don't monitor voice chat, and voice is never recorded by us.

Every player can mute others. You can block players with Meta's block tool, and report them from the game's Report / Block panel or from the Meta menu. We and Meta may review reports and act on them, for example by removing access to online features.

3. Online services

Online play and voice chat rely on services run by Unity Technologies and Meta. We will try to keep them working, but we can't promise they will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or stop online features. Solo play doesn't need them.

How data is handled is explained in our Privacy Policy.

4. Health and safety

Follow the health and safety warnings for your Meta Quest headset. Play in a clear, safe space, take regular breaks, and stop if you feel unwell. The game offers comfort options (teleport or walking, snap or smooth turning, a comfort vignette and seated mode); use the ones that suit you. If you walk in the game, keep your real-world play area clear.

5. Ownership

The game, including its courses, art, music, sounds, code and the Moonrise Mini Golf name and logo, belongs to Moonrise Studios and is protected by intellectual-property law. These terms don't give you any rights to it beyond the licence above.

6. Updates and ending your licence

We may update the game from time to time. We may suspend or end your access to online features if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. You can stop playing and uninstall the game at any time.

7. Disclaimers and limits of liability

The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or enjoyment, arising from your use of the game.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law, or liability that can't be excluded by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will point it out in the game's store listing or release notes. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the game will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you and Moonrise Studios agree to their jurisdiction. If you live outside the United States, this doesn't take away any protection or right to bring claims in your local courts that the consumer-protection laws of your country give you.
